LO2 only has books in her room, and LO1 has a rocking horse, a horse toy, books, and whatever random things she brings up to put in her bed. I was thinking of bringing up a few more toys to keep in their rooms so we could get a change of scenery now and then instead of always playing in the living room or play room. I was just thinking though, LO1 is up "resting" but is riding on her horse, so maybe that's not the best idea

My son used to have a bunch of things that migrated up from his playroom, but I have since cleared them out. He was repeatedly not following directions and since I was sending him to his room, he was playing, which wasn't a punishment to him.

I don't know where else we would keep toys if they weren't in the bedrooms

Pretty much everything is in the playroom. He does have a elephant rocker and an anywhere chair in his room, but I keep thinking we should take those down to the playroom too. He pretty much just sleeps in his room and nothing else.

Yup, the room is storage for the toys I swap out in the living room, which is her main play area.

Yes! She has all of her books and her kitchen in her room. Inside her kitchen is all of her appliances and play food.

Yes, we moved almost all of her toys from the living room to a shelf in her room, I was sick of the baskets of toys that she never played with in "my" space. She's old enough to play in her room now without needed constant supervision.
