I hear a lot of people talking about their LOs watching TV. I have turned the TV on for B on saturday morning for cartoons and he has 0 interest. Does anyone elses LO have no interest in the TV?

I wish. He goes bananas for tv and asks for "bubba bubba" (bubble guppies) all the time.

My oldest had very little interest until he turned 3. My youngest, well, he already does b/c of his older brother but he gets bored after a few minutes.

My LO has no interested in TV, she would much rather play wth toys than watch anything. She never looks at the TV unless she hears/sees a puppy on it.

DS runs around with the remote and wants me to turn the tv on, but once it's on, he doesn't actually pay attention to it....unless wheel of fortune is on. dude loves some vanna!

Wagon Jr. has a serious bubble guppies problem @winniebee: but LMW rarely watches more than a minute at a time. Tough when she was sick for a week!! But weirdly, if Wagon Jr. is around and watching BG, she stops and watches with him.

I wouldn't say zero interest, but he's not really into it. It's hard for me to sit and watch something at home myself, I'm kind of a busy-body, I only turn on TV while I'm cooking or getting ready in the morning, and DS is just like me. I'll turn on something for him but he's too interested playing with his megablocks or playing with his toys to really watch it.

@littlek: same. He is all over the place all the time but when he passes the tv he asks for it!

Yeah she's unimpressed. The only time she really zones in on it is if she's having milk and has to sit still anyways. Any other time she is waaaaaay too busy to pay attention.

@winniebee: B's only interst in the TV is to stack his toys in front of it. He also likes hiding toys behind the DVD player.

She didn't either when she was that age.
@winniebee: @mrs. wagon: I think M might be the only child that doesn't like Bubble Guppies!

Not anymore. We don't turn it on in front of her normally but one Saturday, she was a mess and I was exhausted so I pulled her into my lap and turned on Bubble Guppies. She was entranced. Perfect sick kid viewing.

Yep-- he's too young yet I think? (1) He'll look for a minute or two and then moves on to the next toy or whatever he was doing before-- we haven't found any "shows" he's particularly into yet the few times we've turned it on to babytv.

Lo have no interest in TV at all unless he hears voices of children (AT&T commercial). He will dance to the theme song of the Big Bang Theory and that's about it. He has zero interest in watching tv. He will rather flip through books or play with his toys.

My LO loves(!) Baby Einstein videos (she claps and laughs at the puppets . . . and she has been able to identify more and more animals/birds/fish too). She also loves Finding Nemo . . . Everything else she pretty much ignores.

@littlek: Yes, she will find the remote -the right one!- turn on the DVD player and come to me. It is horribly adorable / omg what have I done?! LOL
