A few years ago, she hated the feel of sand on her feet. This year she loves it. She loves being toppled by the waves and playing in the sand.

We live in Michigan and he's only seen lake beaches. He loves the sand but hates the "yuck" water, much prefers pools for swimming. I think the ocean with waves would be much more appealing.

He hated the beach last year, but he's obsessed now! Like, steals my phone to watch videos of himself at the beach while yelling "beach!!" I'm sad I can't take him right now because I'm recovering from a c-section.
