Our daughter loves to high five! She's 2 1/2... she just gets the biggest grin on her face when I ask her for a high five!
Our son is 4 1/2 and he is ok with high fiving, but it doesn't equal instant happiness like it does with our daughter.

LO is 9 months and we just taught her how to high five. She doesn't really get yet that she's supposed to hit my hand with hers...she kinda just puts her hand in the air and waits for me to hit it. But she thinks it's hilarious.

Yes at 19 months she gets a big grin when someone asks for a high five. She will give "strangers" a high five over a hug or even a hi.

DS is 11 months and while he knows what a high five is, he doesn't really get it. He sticks out his hand though and obliges me.

Yes - also its great when they don't want to give hugs to grandparents or other family members - they will always give a high five!
