I think my 3 year old looks a little bit like me, but I swear my 1 year old looks nothing like me or DH. We actually get a lot of comments, "so who does she look like, because she doesn't really look like either of you"... I think she looks pretty similar to my niece, but my niece looks like my SIL, so that doesn't make sense, but her looks obviously come from somewhere on my side. Just not from me!
Do you have a LO that doesn't look like you or your SO? Do they look like anyone in your family?

my son doesn't look like either of us. we get alot of comments that he doesn't too. people actually think he looks like a male friend of ours which i think is a really weird comment as that insinuates alot... 
and its weird because multiple people have said that. but he does kind of look like my brother so thats better than looking like our friend.

My son looks a lot like I did as a kid. I don't usually see much similarities between me and my daughter, but sometimes a picture will surprise me and I will see it!

When DS2 was a baby he looked just like my aunt. The resemblance was uncanny. Now he looks more like DH but has some of my features too but you kind of have to look for it. We basically just cloned DH to make DS1. I wouldn't know he was mine if I hadn't birthed him.

I don't think my DD looks much like either of us. When she was younger, she looked like my BIL! Now her face shape has changed and she looks like her own little person. Every once in a while she looks a little like me when I was young. Her twin brother is the spitting image of young DH though!

Random strangers always say, "he must look like daddy". My family says he looks like me, and DS's family says he looks like him. I look at DS and see neither of us. Maybe he's just scrambled up real well.

DD1 looks exactly like me but with DH's brown eyes (mine are blue).
DD2 is 9 weeks so I am not sure yet but one of my cousins commented on a FB photo that she looks like our grandfather, LOL! So there may be some truth to babies looking like old men.

People swear my daughter is my mini me. The other day we were sitting across from my parents and they just stared at us. They said they couldn't believe how much she looks like me. My poor hubs. All she got was his skin color.

DS is spitting image of his grandpa but he has red hair and neither of us do. That's the first thing people always ask about.

@brownepiano: We have a red-haired girl, and neither of us has it, so we get comments on that too! It comes from my dad, but even close family friends who knew my dad when he was young (and had hair) ask where the red came from!

@tinyperson: same! Grandpa doesn't have much hair now and it is all white. So only the people who know him well remember that he had red hair. DH didn't even know until DS was born!

I guess our girls are chameleons because with LO1, everyone on my side thought she looked like DH, while everyone on DH's side said she looked like me. It's the exact same with LO2. Both sides of the family can't really place them, haha.
What do you guys think? First pic is LO1 when she was 5 months, second pic is LO 2 around the same age...and we don't have any recent pics of DH and my faces, so these are older ones. I think LO 2 has my face shape and close set eyes....but LO 1 is a mystery. Neither girl has DH's eye shape at all, and their coloring is kind of between me and DH.

She looks like an exact copy of my husband but has darker skin like me. Their baby pictures are identical. Everyone in his family is like that though, they ALL look alike.

My girls are twins separated by three years. And they both strongly resemble their Dad. But as the older one ages, I see how she looks like me at her age.

Everyone always says LO is a "perfect mix" of me and DH. I kind of think that means she looks like neither of us! Haha!
