I've been noticing that my son is usually drawn to the naughty kids in his class! One of his closest friends is really well behaved though, but they have a lot in common (they have similar backgrounds, like similar TV shows, etc.). Definitely the minority though...

Naughty for sure. But my son is also pretty naughty when the mood strikes him.

@mrbee: Do you know whether your son actually plays with the naughty kids, or just likes to tell stories about them? My daughter likes to tell me stories about a particular little boy in her class (and the stories always involve this boy doing something naughty), but when I asked the teacher recently who my daughter is playing with, his name never came up. So I think she just likes to chronicle his behavior, because she wouldn't dare do the things he does! The kids she actually plays with seem to be well behaved!

Well behaved. He isn't comfortable around kids who break the rules. Sometimes he will try to correct them...

My son is only 2, but he for sure prefers more laid back/quiet/passive kids. He is not aggressive or wild at ALL.

When he was in the toddler and young preschool classes he mostly played with a group of rough and tumble boys. Now in preschool he mostly plays with two very well-behaved girls (he's in love with one of them :silly:). He's become a little lady's man...whenever we go back to the old class to visit he wants to hug all of the girls (and they run up to him, too!)

She likes to cause mischief, so anyone who will play along with that wins her admiration

I have no idea!! I will have to keep my eye out and see how that she just started a new daycare
