My LO does this all the time and has actually ate the dogs food! Does your LO do this? He's 9 months old.

Not yet, but we have a cat and I bet once she is mobile she will try!

Once I found kibble in my son's mouth. Since then he now only picks up kibble that doesn't make it in the bowl and gently puts it in their bowls.

Yes, I've had to pry it out of his mouth a couple of times. The dog bowls are now kept in the gated kitchen.

Nope. He doesn't always eat his food when I put it out so I keep a good eye on her when she goes over there.

We keep the dog food in the foyer so she never has access to it
