My LO wakes up from naps and in the morning happy. She will roll around a little, sit up, then play. If I didn't have the monitor I'd have no idea she's up for awhile because she rarely makes any noise.

DD wakes up happy in the morning and if she naps enough, she'll wake up happy too. (she wakes up cranky if she doesn't sleep through an entire sleep cycle I think).
DS wakes up happy all the time. Love seeing his smiling face when I go to pick him up.

It's about 50/50...I love when she wakes up happy. Usually, if she wakes up sad I leave her longer in hopes that she falls back asleep, or gets her alone time to get into a happy mood. It usually works!

Morning's she's all smiles, naps it is hit and miss, sometimes she's pretty crabby after a nap, but sometimes she starts to laugh to tell us she's done, love those days!

She's usually happy. She smiles, says "hi", then wants a cuddle. But if she wakes up in between, argh ... she's screaming

Morning & first 2 naps are happy, very happy. But that last nap is just terrible. In so glad it's close to bedtime by then because he is a grouch!

My LO will wake up happy if he is well rested. If he wakes up too soon from his nap, he will be very mean and unpleasant. It takes him at least half an hour to "wake up" and return to normal. I have learned to ask him if he needs more sleep if I see him act really cranky. Usually he says yes and goes back to nap for another half hour to hour.
