Does your LO wear sizes bigger than his age? Smaller? Or spot on? I know sizes vary depending on brand, but generally across the board?
DS is almost 9.5 months and is now consistently wearing according to his size. Before he used to wear bigger...but now he fits into 9 month and I've just brought out the 12 month stuff to wash.
I'm trying to prep for next year and buying clothes seasonally/size correctly since we have nothing in the 18+ dept!

I always go bigger. Tops I like them big for over her head and ot get more wear out of it. Pants at the right size are too tight on her so I have to go bigger.
She's 16 months and wearing 18-24m and 2T stuff.

He's usually on the smaller end. He is 18 months and just fitting into 12-18m perfectly. He is usally the tail end of sizes (ie at 6 months he started fitting into 3-6m).

I refuse to buy up because LO is so petite now I have no idea what size she will be in a year from now. She's 11 months old and is wearing 6-9 months shirts, and 12 month pants for length on cold days. Yesterday I had her in 6 month jeggings that I rolled up like capris on her and they were still big around the waist.

It depends on the brand but for the most she lags a month behind the sizes. So she was in 3-6 month clothing from 4-7 months. She's now in 6-9 and I expect that at the end of this month when she hits 10 months we'll get into her 9-12 stuff.

I don't buy ahead anymore. After the first year, their growth kind of slows down, so just because they are measuring a certain way during the first year doesn't mean you'll be able to use that to guage where they will be in a year.
My son is 2.5 and wears 24 months in bottoms and 4T in tops.

It depends if she's in a cloth or disposable! Disposable, we go smaller, cloth we go up! But for diaper covers, she can still wear the 3M ones. She's 70% for height, though, so i know she's no tiny little thing

He is 2 1/4 years old and he is wearing size 9-12 month shorts (underwear), 18m and 24m pants (for length they fall off when he wears undies). 18 month shirts. I have up to 2 t out but they are still massive on him.

DS2 is 19 months and wears 18-24m. He's always been right in his age size. DS1 is so small though and has always worn smaller sizes. At 4 years old he's in 2T/3T bottoms and 3T tops. He can wear some 24m shorts still.

LO is 10 months and she tends to be split 50/50 between 9 month and 12 month clothes right now. She still wears a lot of her 6 month stuff, too!
I took a lot of good advice from some of the mini style posts about making clothing stretch and she wears a 6 month dress as a top with little pants or leggings, and 12 month shirts as shortie dresses. I really only just put away some of her 3 month dresses that we were wearing as tops, and have reluctantly started putting pants on under some of the 12 month tops.

My LO just turned 1(!) and her 9 month clothes are still fitting her best.

Xander is 6 months and has been wearing 3-6 and 6 months for a couple months now. Onesies still fit him great, but the footed sleepers and feeling too short, so I think we're going to have to start breaking in the 6-9 and 9 month sleepers!
I would say he usually wears larger sizes, but only because of his length! Weight-wise, 6 month stuff fits him perfectly!

I've moved her up to 18m pants and she already fills them out quite nicely at 9.5 months. She's still wearing 9m or 12m tops though.
I just bought her some 12m footed pj's last week and I swear they are already too short. I think it's time to move on to separates.

She is 5 months (on Sunday) and is wearing size 9 months in Carter's and some 3 to 6 month depending on the brand.

She wears smaller.
She is 15-months and 12 month stuff fits her perfectly. For fall, I am buying her 12-18 month stuff because it has room to grow.

A week from 6 months and 3-6 fits her great. Although some footed sleepers are getting a little tight in the legs, but most still work.

She's always worn a bigger size. She's currently 85th percentile for weight and off the charts for height. We actually just hung out with a kid that's an entire year older then her and she's the same size as him.
