My dog does, and it cracks me up. She is really interested in animals on TV, and gets excited when they run around and make a lot of noise.

YES! She doesn't care much for shows with real people, but if you put on a movie with animation she's glued to it. She watched A Bugs Life so intently, that when we went to bed we recorded the rest so she could finish it the next day lmao, she laid right down and finished the entire movie! She's a freak.

The cat I had as a kid loooved nature shows and would bat the screen with her paws, little hunter. My parents also had a cd of classical music with nature sounds, like birds chirping. When they played that the same cat came running to the living room and stared at the stereo, lol.
@MrsTiz: I love that you recorded the rest of the movie for your dog

Nah he completely ignores it. Sometimes he perks up at noises it makes, but quickly loses interest.

one of them used to when we first got her, but she got over it. the other one was never interested.
my sister's dog barks at "so you think you can dance". apparently she doesn't think any of them can actually dance.

@MrsTiz: Maya would probably love the movie Brave. That was a hit with my dog.
@bookish @Medianaranja: I checked in on my friend's cat for her when she was out of town. She actually had a DVD I played just for cats! Lots of chirping birds.
@Edelweiss: That's funny! My dog barked and ran to touch her nose to the screen when the Miss America pageant was on and someone started performing a traditional Indian dance.

@Happygal: She was really into Epic, so she'd probably like Brave, too! At least when LO watches movies, he'll have someone to watch with him haha

In my house we cant really watch nature shows because my dog, Darwin, goes nuts when theres animals on tv. he'll run into the kitchen thinking theyre behind the TV. My dog Toby (our family dog) loved to watch pixar movies on our laptop and loved watching the dog show on thanksgiving... i took this video of him and my lil bro about 5 years ago. I still miss him terrible and he passed more than 2 years ago.

Yes! One of my kitties loves Finding Nemo! This particular kitty also hangs out with me and watches trashy reality shows.
