We were in the car the other day, DH was driving, and DD was kicking his seat. He was mid-way into telling her that she can't kick his seat when he spots shiny rims on a car and totally forgot what he was saying to her and goes "Look, those are so shiny!!!"

Gotta be honest, I'm definitely the little kid in our relationship. I've named all the squirrels in our neighborhood. The fun part is he goes along with it and uses my stupid made up words and such. ^_^

Yes. His new favorite thing to do is see how high over my head he can kick. And he is still using our oversized bolster pillow to break his fall when he jumps on the bed.

@LizSmith: Haha, you're my husband! He has made up words, has a goal to pet the birds in our yard (he's gotten 2!), claps with his feet to make me laugh, etc. Just does not give a darn about how silly he looks (and I love that).
He also is cranky when he's hungry or tired. LOL!

we went to a yankees game this summer & DH was so excited. it was his first baseball game and he was just taking it all in. he was definitely like a little kid and it made me so happy! sometimes we would do better to look at the world the way kids do!
