He'll respond for me while I'm driving or something... We're pretty interchangable though... Sometimes he'll say "Mr. Jacks here" but most of the time he'll just be me and no one ever knows the difference.

SO hates texting! If my phone is going off, he'll grab it and just toss it to me!

if one of us is driving, the other will answer a text, or we'll check each others phones to see who was texting/calling if the other is busy

In the beginning of our relationship he did a couple times. I asked him too. There were three guys (one was my ex) who would not stop calling and texting me trying to get me to meet up with them and do stuff. It was stressing me out big time. He was able to finally get them to leave me alone. It had gone so far that my ex would sit in his car outside of my work.

Only if I ask him to. I think I'd be upset if he pretended to be me!

Yep, he'll respond back often and I his to our best couple friends... but, that's about it... we don't really check each other's phones unless we ask one another to do it because we're too busy to respond.

We both check each others phones as a courtesy, but would never respond to a text unless asked. I'm so bad at checking my phone that my friends adn family know to text DH when they want to get a hold of me anyway!

When I got my new work phone, the number was previously registered to a guy who apparently didn't give any of his friends a heads up that it changed (and was delinquent on student loans). So I would get texts all the time from his friends for the first few months and it really bothered DH so he just responded to them to stop texting.

no, because i don't have text. BUT i know he would if i did! he used to chat for me while my IM was up. punk!
