PapaMoose is terrible. He used to play in the NFL so he always had a million check ups a year by the team doctors. Now that he's not playing any more he has to actually make appointments like a normal person and he doesn't care for that. So he's super lazy about it. I don't make the appointments for him but I nag him over and over until it's done.

No and No! He doesn't go to the dr, and he doesn't really take care of his health! I am always on him about it, but it doesn't matter! He did willing go to the dr for our fertility treatments, but otherwise its like pulling teeth to get him to go. I don't even think he has a regular dr! I go all the time because because I have so many medical issues.

Very true! The only reason Mr. Marbles went to the doctor this year was to get the vaccine for whooping cough and the flu shot because LM was born. He wouldn't go otherwise!

My husband is actually better than I am about this although since we've been ttc, I've gotten my act together.

My husband doesn't go to the doctor unless he doesn't feel well, and then he only goes if I make him. He was traumatized by a doctor when he was really young and that distrust has never left.

I make my husband a yearly physical appointment. He wouldn't go if I didn't! He does go to the eye doctor yearly since he has bad eyesight. He does not go to the dentist...I haven't won that battle. Must be a guy thing!

I try and encourage my DH to go more often but it is a struggle! He says that he doesn't have the time...I'm working on it!!

He never goes. He only goes to walk in clinics if he has something wrong that he can't fix. He doesn't go for annual physicals though. I nag him all the time, but he is a bum. Otherwise, he takes extremely good care of himself on a daily basis, so maybe that cancels out his need for annual visits?! Probably not but I can dream!

Yes, my husband gets a complete physical every year because I make him. He's a little overweight and doesn't exercise regularly so he's not the most healthiest, so I always make him go get a complete work up. I think he would go on his own anyways.

Ha, the only times he's been since we've been together (and we're talking 4 years here) have been ER trips after doing something stupid. He also is terrible about scheduling the dentist - I have to make his appointments...and remind him for weeks.
