I am not very good at directions.
I thought I was really bad, but I actually have a friend who is worse... he's not only bad at picking a direction, but he just seems so confident about it. And then ten minutes later, you're completely lost.
Who has a better sense of direction... you or your SO?

DH never gets lost. It's amazing. We can be anywhere and he will always figure it out.
Me on the other hand? I've lived in the same area my entire life.....think I would know it yet?? Nope I still get lost probably on a weekly basis

DH has way better sense of direction than me. I'm pretty hopeless. If I have to guess which way to go, I'll always go the wrong way.

I have a really bad sense of direction. Even when I play Minecraft I so easily get lost. My DH has a great sense of direction!

He is always giving me directions or explaining things "go southwest.. its on the north east side..etc"
and I work in left/right/whatever my gps says

@mrbee: Oh my goodness my husband is the SAME way. He SWEARS he knows where he is going even though deep down we both know that in about five minutes we are going to be horribly lost and have to consult GPS. Seriously though he has a terrible sense of direction. We will drive somewhere, be there for a five minutes and turn around to leave and he can't figure out how to get back.

SO BAD. ohmygosh. It's not even that he doesn't know where he's going, I think he just gets distracted and then misses a turn, forgets that he has to get off at the next exit, etc. He's a very safe driver, but if he didn't have me to navigate we'd never get anywhere!

We both have a good sense of direction. I can go somewhere once and remember exactly how to get there. It takes him a couple times.

My husband is great with directions. He grew up on a farm and farms now, so it's pretty important. Sometimes he annoys me by out gps-ing my gps, but I'm secretly impressed that he has such skills. For me, North is whatever direction I'm facing in. And I've finally learned not to use livestock as directional aids because they can't be counted on to stay put!

Nope--- he forgets which direction to turn out of a parking lot!!! Thank goodness I do

Yes SO is a farm boy, he can get us anywhere...me on the otherhand is awful and not only can't tell which direction I'm facing, I'm awful at backtracking to get out of a place!

Me. He's not bad, but I've always had an internal compass. I love to take back roads because I never feel lost.

Yes. He drives for a living and I can say a street address to him and he'll know how to get there. I need cross streets LOL
