I was on a playdate with some friends, and the guy had his shoes off. His toenails needed to be clipped! Then I looked at my toenails, and knew that I had no moral high ground.
Gonna cut those suckers today!!

bleh. yes! i made DH cut them the other night. he has the worst feet ever! he works for 13 hours straight, plus driving times, so he has boots on 3-4 times per week for 14 hours! it does not make his feet pretty...
He won't get a pedicure!

My DH is terrible and the more I ask him to take care of it, the more he wants to annoy me and not clip. It is revolting even thinking about it. How can adorable little baby boy feet turn into disgusting man feet? I do not understand.

My husband is way more vigilant about this than I am. All his nails are generally very short.
I hardly ever remember to cut mine, so sometimes they get kinda long, but I also get pedicures, so at least they are painted and pretty! lol

Yuck! DH probably has long toe nails, but I make him cute them at least every other week. I feel like his mother sometime LOL but....if I don't remind him they will never get done! hahaha

To answer the question, I look at Wagon Sr.'s feet as little as possible. If I ever see his toenails getting too long my reaction is so strong that he clips them immediately. He actually keeps them in check pretty well because of this. If he slashes me under the covers in bed, it's OVER.

DH's feet are pretty gross, especially the toenails. He needs a serious pedicure but we haven't done it yet.
However, speaking of moral high ground, I stretched out in bed the other night not realizing his feet were on my side-- my toenails broke the skin on his foot when I jabbed him with them! Whoops! I can't help it though-- it's the prenatals and the preg hormones that make all my nails grow so fast! I clip them at least every other week if not more-- I hate long toe nails!
That's my confession. I broke my husband's skin with my nasty long toe nails.

I used to work in podiatry, so I am slightly obsessed. I've actually removed most my husbands toenails ( they were dead from Soccer), so his length is in check 
However, I have seen some really sad cases, particularly in the mentally Ill and elderly/disabled where their toe nails have been neglected and are so long that they curl under like spirals..

I have a pet peeve of biting fingernails and toenails getting too long, so both my son and husband get nagged about their nails at least once a month. I'll even do it myself for them, if it gets them to make them look decent, lol.

haha feet don't gross me out. However, my husband is super clean about his nail clipping habits so his toes & fingers are trimmed ALL the time.

This thread made me lol. I haven't checked out my husband's feet recently, but I'm sure the nails are at an appropriate length. He's very neat and keeps himself well-maintained. Sometimes I think his feet look better than mine!!

He keeps them pretty neat and tidy. It is me that has the issues, lol. Not so bad now, since I got a pedicure recently, but there have been times where I have really regretted forgetting to clip my toenail (getting caught on a concrete staircase in flip flops, OW).

They are probably long. He always forgets to cut them and I have to remind him. But I have barely seen him recently so I don't know what they look like at the moment.
ETA - just checked them, they are ok!

DH is crazy about trimming his nails all the time. He doesn't ever like to see white on either his fingers or toes.
It's winter, you don't see your feet often so I can see how you might go longer between trimming them.
