I used to tell my DH "I weigh between 124-134lbs." Since my weight was always fluctuating and I didn't want him knowing exactly how much I weighed. Now that I have a LO, I'm like the honey badger. I don't give a sh1t. (cursing stops in 2012!) If he asks, I'll tell him exactly how much I weigh.

I do. I didn't used to, but since he came with me to most of my prenatal apts he knew how much I weighed prebirth, so now I like to tell him when I've gone down 10 pounds. Unfortunately haven't gotten to tell him in a while

Heck no. I use to not care if he knew, but after baby that changed. I told him at my prenatal appointments to not look. (I'm sure he did though) We don't have a scale at home so I haven't been weighed since my 6 week appointment. Which is nice because I don't worry about the number and if we did have one DH knows better than to ask!
part of me is curious though what my weight is.

@lovelife: HAHA. My nurse used to have my husband wait in the examination room while she took my vitals. She said men don't need to know how much their wives weigh

@lovelife: They made us say our weight out loud, we weighed ourselves after we peeing in a cup. Only one nurse ever asked me if I wanted to keep it a secret and whisper it, and by that time I was already in my 3rd trimester so the damage was done, he already knew.

My husband has always knowns my weight, we live together and he sees me naked everyday so I'm not sure how it wpuld make a difference if I keep the actual number from him.

Yes, we are both trying to lose weight right now, so we both know how much each other weighs....It was really hard and a little embarrassing for me to tell him, but I figured he married me, the whole me!

He's never asked but it has come up, especially when I was pregnant I'd bring it up. It's not something I'm self-conscious about though so I've never felt a need to hide the number from him.

He knows what I weigh and I really don't care if he knows. That may change after baby, but I doubt it. He doesn't care what I weigh and honestly, he gets slightly jealous if he hears I lose weight by not doing anything. The same doesn't go the other way (weigh)? Oooh, bad joke, sorry. He will not tell me what he weighs and I don't ask (I learned that asking is a bad idea).
*sidebar: am I the only person who has no clue what the honey badger is?

@artbee: really! Most receptionists, nurses and drs. in those offices are women.. They should know how we feel about revealing weight out loud!

Men should have to deal with part of the pregnancy.. either the weight gain, stretch marks, breastfeeding or labor/delivery..They can pick!

@lovelife: I guess they figured if he can sit there and watch them give me an exam, he can know how much I weigh. I mean really the exams were more personal and vulnerable then the weight thing anyway.

To be honest I have never really given it much thought either way. He knows what I weigh, I know what he weighs.

DH knows my weight now better than I do. He's so worried about me gaining a healthy amount of weight especially after the 1st trimester when I lost 10 lbs. He knew my pre pregnancy weight so he knows how much I should gain.

No, and neither do I. Scales trigger my eating disorder, so I avoid them.

Yep?... it's not really a conversation piece, but he knows what I weigh... and especially when I'm fluctuating... I keep him updates just to verbalize it for myself and give me motivation to work out!

Hubs has always known how much I weigh. I'm pretty open and like MRSJYW, it helps motivate me when there are extra pounds. But now that I'm pregnant, he can't really say anything...in fact, we weight about the same now! eek!

Haha, he knows. I had to weigh our suitcases tonight and I did the old "step on the scale with the suitcase" thing and he had to look at the scale since I couldn't.

My DH does know, I know he loves me no matter what I weigh. I've been having issues with my thyroid so it's been out of control lately, so he's more concerned about that, not if I'm getting a little more junk in the trunk
He just wants to make sure we have no problems trying to conceive next year & that I'm healthy!

I never used to, but when I was pregnant he went to all my prenatal appointments and could see when they weighed me. Now I just don't really care anymore.

He knows my weight before, during and after pregnancy. I didn't really think it would be an issue with SOs, I mean they do see you naked and now your size exactly! I have always been on the slim side and haven't really had weight hangups.

Yes, DH knows my weight. I weigh myself every morning and either whinge if I've gained a pound, jump around excitedly if I've lost a pound, or am satisfied if I've stayed the same. Of course my weight fluctuates by about 4 lbs any given day so there's a lot of whinging/jumping around that occurs. DH thinks I'm a bit nuts but he humours me.
Now that I'm pregnant, I give him a play by play every single day. We're both into fitness and being healthy though so we like keeping track of our weight and overall fitness. I'm almost 13 weeks now and haven't gained any weight yet but I know once the scale starts creeping up, it's going to be a bit hard to take!

So far I've been pretty happy with my weight gain (which is WAY less than with DS) so DH definitely knows. We'll see how the next 2 1/2 months go. lol
I'm sure I'll still tell him.... he thinks I'm hot regardless. lol

We don't actively converse about it or anything but DH knows what I weigh.
Besides, he sees me naked all the time so even if he didn't know the exact number, he's always going to have a pretty decent idea.
