My DH doesn't mind going to the mall, but he hates shopping for himself. He told me last night he needs some new clothes for summer and asked me to pick some out and order them. I LOVE shopping, so I'm excited! Does your SO like to shop?

Not really, but he will go with me and not bitch the whole time, which I appreciate. He does like to shop for clothes for E. A couple of times, he has come home all giddy over what he bought her, totally unprompted

He loves shopping for himself. For home stuff or me, not so much. Every mall trip becomes all about him, it's ridiculous, haha. Now that dd is born we'll see if he likes shopping for her too...

Nope. He hates everything about it, hates the mall, hates shopping for himself, shopping for other people, shopping for the home, etc.
Occassionally he will come with me if I need to get something but he won't browse with me (unless we're on vacation).

He likes going to the mall or running errands with us occasionally. He's not usually up for shopping unless we have a vacation coming up or something fun!
I usually shop for him, he tries on at home, etc. Last wknd we did go shopping though and he picked some golf/summer stuff

He hates it. I usually go and pick out his clothes. I get about 1-2x times a year he will go with me and we just stock up!

i buy his clothes on my own & have him try them at home usually. he's a good sport about coming along if we're out & i want to stop somewhere (the gap outlet was having a $9.99 cardi sale while we were having lunch next door at five guys on sunday, he was patient while i went & picked up a few!).

More than I do lol. I don't know if he really likes it, but he can stand being at the mall way longer than I can.

He doesn't mind. If he is buying clothes I have to go with him. He wants my approval on everything he buys!

He doesn't like shopping, he likes buying. Which means if he actually needs/wants something-- he likes to go and find it and buy it (including clothes, although getting him to try anything on is impossible). But he doesn't like to just "go shopping" when we don't have a mission/goal

He loves shopping for himself, haha. He's loves shoes the most, then jeans, then nice jackets. He doesn't like spending money though so he'll only go once a year and stock up on what he needs.
We went shopping before our honeymoon and he bought double the amount of clothes I did.
Oh but if we're shopping for the LO's, he's only sort of interested. If we're shopping for me, he's bored. He'll make suggestions to me and they get shot down though.

100% NO. He won't even go to Home Depot or Lowe's by himself to get some nails for a project.

Despises it, unless it's for techy stuff. I (or his aunt) buy all this clothes!

My husband loves shopping - mostly online shopping and mostly gear, any type of gear.

@pui: My husband is also a better shopper. He has far more endurance, more patience, and is far less likely to get frustrated and try to run screaming for the parking lot!
