Secret frat stuff is totally secret, as is mine. If a buddy asks him to keep a secret, he does. I have to keep secrets at work, so we're used to this dynamic

Haha, I asked my husband about a project he was working on and he was all super secretive about it. I actually got upset about it, which surprised me. But I understand why I can't be aware of the details.

He keeps his work/military life secretive, actually he's pretty secretive period.

No, there's nothing interesting enough in either of our lives to give us secrets

Yes - he says women ask too many questions and his guy friends just let him get it out.
Boo.

We're both open books. The only secrets he keeps are when he's surprising me with something.

He tells me pretty much everything. He can't keep a secret to save his life.

No secrets, but he'll often forget to tell me things! But if I ask him about something, he'll tell me!

@Adira: Mine too! He tells me everything but he's not the most talkative to sometimes I have to ask to get things out!
If he encounters stressful situations at work sometimes he waits to tell me since he wants to process it himself first.

We are open books, minus if someone has asked us to keep a very sensitive piece of information secret and it has no impact on our family personally.

There's a lot about work that he can't discuss. Not that I would understand anyway. Engineering stuff = head spinning.
Sometimes he just doesn't discuss things with me until he makes a final decision, which drives me crazy. Like, he decided he wanted to go back to grad school and told me 2 weeks before application deadline. I think we probably should have discussed that a bit more.

@Adira: haha yes this! he'll often keep secrets like "so and so is coming over for dinner tonight" or "we're going to so and so's house today." but never on purpose

Usually he is an open book but I know a few times he has kept some things in confidence for friends, especially when I know the wife in the situation.

@BabyBoecksMom: @lawbee11: same. Something arrived in the post today for Mother's Day and he won't tell me what it is, grr!

I think my DH pretty much tells me everything. Honestly, if you tell a secret to one of us, the other knows it too.

We tell each other almost everything.
Though a friend of mine's husband spilled that she was preggo to him, and he didn't tell me! And then SHE didn't tell me because she knew he knew and assumed he told me!!
I can't fault him, I think the whole situation is hilarious actually.

@BabyBoecksMom: Exactly the same.
We are (grossly) attached at the hip and are best friends so we really do tell each other everything lol

We're open books. Like others mentioned, he keeps frat stuff to himself (to be honest it isn't anything I've cared to know about). There have been work things he wasn't at liberty to discuss (he worked for the government & often sat in meetings w/high ranking officials). Other than that, we tell each other everything.

Not really. If he hasn't told me something, it's probably because he forgot about it.

He pretty much tells me everything (if he remembers to). If I inquire about something, he'll tell me.
