I'm so thankful that mine doesn't! I don't think I'd be able to stand it. Every little noise keeps me up at night!

Only when he's sick and/or sleeping on his back. It actually doesn't bother me at all, but it's really light.

@chopsuey: HUH? Really? Maybe cause you're sleep deprived? My hubs says that I snore when I'm suuuuuper tired.

@banana: I think it's a mix of being fat and tired. Haha. Maybe it'll stop when I lose 10lbs.
persimmon / 1328 posts
Ugh, yes! Whenever he does, I poke him as stealthily as I can to get him to roll over or move so he will stop, which usually works. He figured out my trick a while ago though, so he gets pretty annoyed when he realizes he kept waking up all night because of me.

Not anymore, he lost 50+ pounds since his diabetes diagnosis earlier this year and it went away!
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
Yup!! It was the first thing that kept me awake for a week when we first lived together. Now, it doesn't bother me unless he snores heavily then I'm all wide eyed.

Oh My Lands YES. He comes by it honestly (overtired!), but dooooooood. . .
persimmon / 1128 posts
Light sleeper here too, and after 10+ years I can finally tune him out. Both our boys snore too. Poor future wives.
pomelo / 5509 posts
He does when he's overtired. It's not that often. Our dog snores SO loud, though, and it wakes us both up! And she's only 9 lbs!
coconut / 8279 posts
He doesn't but he does have night terrors (fun!).
He said I snored when I was hugely pregnant, hahaha

@rachiecakes: me too!
@pui: I totally lol'd at *poke* . . . I poke my DH too.
apricot / 388 posts
Sometimes but not as much as my dog! he woke me up multiple times last night and I can't even kick him or yell at him to stop like I would with DH!
persimmon / 1081 posts
Yup, DH snores. I'm going on almost a decade of lousy sleep. He's been checked out and he does not have sleep apnea. I'm really starting to think separate bedrooms.
clementine / 899 posts
Yes, he does now. He didn't make a sound the whole time we were dating and once we got married and moved in together, he started. Luckily it isn't too bad and when I give him a nudge he usually shuts up.

@mrsog: LOL my dog sleeps in her bed on the floor next to my side of the bed, and when she starts to snore really loudly I reach down and poke her or shake her bed around. It's probably really mean but man, she snores like a 400-pound old man.
papaya / 10570 posts
Yes and I'm a very light sleeper so it drives me nuts. Back in the golden days, when I was tanked up on wine every evening, it wasn't such a problem but now we have a baby and that option has been removed it is a real issue.

@IRunForFun: hahaha it might be mean but that's exactly what I do to my snoring DH! He gets pummeled every night for keeping me awake!
apricot / 388 posts
@IRunForFun: Mine is a fat english bulldog and he sleeps in his bed at the foot of ours. I feel terrible bc I don't know if he can breathe but I'm ready to kick him out of the room its so loud!
clementine / 896 posts
Yep. It use to really bother me. Now I find it kind of comforting. Lol.
grapefruit / 4817 posts
YES!!! I seriously want to smother him some nights. And I probably sleep in the guest bedroom 5 nights out of the week. It's always worse in the fall with his seasonal allergies, and if he's really tired. But it's loud all the time. I'd do anything for him not to snore.
nectarine / 2886 posts
Yes. It doesn't wake me up but if i'm up and he's snoring, i have a tough time falling asleep. Last week I had a cold, and dh told me i was snoring!
kiwi / 550 posts
She doesn't, but I do at certain points during the night. What bothers her more is the part where I stop breathing. So she will wake me up and make me move/breathe again.
honeydew / 7811 posts
@banana: Yes! And I'm a light sleeper! It has never been a nightly thing, but when he does it it drives me crazy. The longer we've been together, the quicker I am to nudge/punch/kick him when he's snoring! haha
Although, he recently lost 30+ lbs (and counting) and I can't remember the last time he snored ....
