I really have trouble with most reality TV. I usually have to leave the room if it's on...

DH watches Big Bang Theory & How I Met Your Mother without me. I think I would like them, but he is home a lot more than me. I don't have time for any new shows! He also watches a lot of sports without me.

Nope! Hubs isn't big into TV, so I'm the one that watches shows without him, not the other way around. Although he'll leave ESPN on while he's on the computer, so he kind of watches that without me.

The shows he used to watch without me, he usually ends up dropping! like American Horror Story, Heroes, and Grimm.
We love watching the Walking Dead together!
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
Nope! It's more me watching stuff he doesn't like (parenthood, the bachelor)!!
persimmon / 1180 posts
He watches American Dad, South Park, and Family Guy without me. I watch Private Practice without him.
grapefruit / 4120 posts
The Good Wife! That show just does not interest me in. The. Least! And UFC. Yuck. So at least he has diverse tastes!
coconut / 8854 posts
We started watching Revolution together, but now he's just not into it. We watch The Office together though!
I read this post wrong! Duhh..ummm DH will watch every football game that's on TV. I will only watch our team play, I could care less about the others!

Mine watches football and I just can't get into it! I don't mind baseball as much.

@autumnlove: same exact shows that I don't watch with DH. (He watches Breaking Bad and Walking Dead online). I tried to, but I'm not really interested in them. He watches everything I watch because he's forced to since I control the TV

My husband just watched 2 seasons of walking dead last week while he was off from work. He keeps trying to get me to watch it but I am not really interested.

@mrsjazz: I fall asleep every time I try to watch with him!

@tororojo: Omg, the FOOTBALL!! It sucks that it's on Sundays, Mondays AND Thursdays. And it sucks more this year because DH joined a basketball fantasy league (in addition to his football one) so he watches some basketball too. I HATE watching sports on tv... unless it's the Olympics.
And I loooove some of the shows you guys listed above! Breaking Bad, The Good Wife (LOVE), Dexter (amazeballs).
I definitely watch a lot of shows without him, usually when he's watching sports.

If sports counts, consider all professional football on my list.

DH has found a way to watch all of the past seasons of "Game of Thrones" even though we don't have HBO. I have absolutely no interest. I call it "soft core porn" because whenever I glance at the computer someone's flashing their breasts or having sex.
He also watches "Walking Dead," which I will sorta glance at but I'm not into at all.
I probably watch just as much football as he does. Pro football is the only sport I follow with any regularity, and I'm the commissioner of an all-women's fantasy football league. I often have ESPN on in the background on weekday nights.

He likes to watch Family Guy which has gotten old to me. He also used to watch the Stargate shows, which I never really like. DH is more of a movie person though and there are a million movies I didn't mind before but now I don't care to watch because I've seen them so many times.

Car shows. Blech.
Luckily, he watches them at night when I'm trying to fall asleep. This way I fall asleep first and don't hear his snoring! Lol

He watches Dexter and Boardwalk Empire alone since it's too violent for me. He used to watch that crazy violent gladiator show alone too. It's funny because I can Walking Dead and Grim and think it's fine and kinda fun, but with real violence, I'm too chicken - it gives me nightmares!

Haha, only cartoons He's big into the 1980s cartoons, and looooves to watch them, and well, I have no interest in them! Other than that though, we both love to watch football, car shows, and things like Walking Dead, so luckily there is always something for us to watch together!

Undercover Boss, any TSN stuff, hockey. The guy can sit there and watch an NHL game from 1987! I don't get it.
bananas / 9227 posts
And Southpark. I can't watch it after their human centipede episode! Eww.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
He watches a bunch of stuff I'm not into....football, Dexter, Walking Dead, Vampire Diaries...I honestly don't know all the shows he watches because he either watches them downstairs or when I'm not around. We have a fair amount of shows we watch together, but I don't watch as much tv in general.
pomelo / 5331 posts
Sports shows. And he's not interested in any of the TV shows I watch (Dexter, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey). The only show we have in common is Homeland. We'll also watch reruns of Seinfeld, Big Bang Theory, and Family Guy together if they're on.

He watches Archer, South Park, and Sons of Anarchy.

DH watches burn notice, two and a half men. and he likes watching Love it or List it or any house buying shows. I tolerate them but wouldnt watch them on my own
GOLD / papaya / 10206 posts
He likes stupid things like Tosh.0 and South Park, I usually tune out when that crap is on. Also, he loves things like Shark Hunters and Survivor Man, I don't like those ones very much either.
nectarine / 2964 posts
He watches stupid Attack Of The Show on G4! Argh! While I can tolerate it I don't like it.
Then he can't tolerate me watching Lost (used to), and any kind of reality TV shows
@Mrsbells: Love It Or List It on HGTV? I packaged that show (ie.designing and creating the on-air show open, bumps, lowerthirds, graphics and all)!!! HAHA it is so funny to hear that people actually watch shows that I worked on... sorry you had to tolerate that

He watches The Walking Dead without me now. I used to watch it but it got too .... too much for me.
