DD haaaates having her hair washed. She gets so upset, yells at me, whines, etc. but when it's all done, she loves the rest of her bath.
How do I make hair-washing better?

Does she get super sweaty or dirty?
We rarely wash M's hair. We just wash with water unless she gets something in it.
P used to just pour water over her head and eventually she got over hating it. HA

@chopsuey: She gets dirty EVERY DAY! When she comes home from daycare her hair is matted from sweat...Often there's sand in it...On Friday there was glue in it!

LO still hates having his hair washed. He will cry right before we have to rinse because he hates the possibility of getting water in his eyes. Unfortunately we're still battling this so I have no good advice. He loves bath time minus the hair washing though.

My DD hates it but things got much better when she was able to hold a small towel over her face during the rinse. I think she was two. DS doesn't like it it tolerates it much better than his sister.

I have a two cup measuring cup full of clean water ready and I tell her to look up while I rinse down the back. Then she learned to rinse by looking up. She hated when she would look down and it would run in her eyes. So I told her there might be an itsy bitsy spider up on the ceiling and can she help me look for it.

She looooathes hair washing. I just try and get it over with as fast as possible

Yes! She gets so upset, gasps for air (even though I don't get water in her face!), then she stands up after water is on her head like she's going to get out of the bath. Ugh.
