My 2 year old daughter loves the shower! She will happily get her hair wet, let me wash and rinse her off and just hang out in the water.
I prefer it too.. Easier on my back, and I don't feel like I have to scrub the tub before every bath! lol.

Definitely bath. Where he would happily remain for hours on end.

I don't understand how to shower a toddler. She doesn't like to get water or soap near her eyes! I wish! I can't give her a bath anymore because it hurts to bend over that far. I keep abandoning dh while he does it.

@yellowbird: I just let her stand in there - she controls it all! She can back into or out of the water. She hated water in her eyes til she started showering, now she will casually wipe her face with the towel hanging on the hook next to the shower, lol. I sit right outside of it and chat with her!

@sorrycharlie: what about soap going in her eyes from shampoo? That doesn't bother her? Does she get it all rinsed out?

@yellowbird: It doesn't really go in her eyes, weirdly! If it does it doesn't bother her - it did in the tub! But the shower doesn't. Lol. So bizarre. I don't attempt all at once, I rinse some every time she's in the water - the Ava stuff isn't insane suds, so that helps avoid it streaming into her eyes and also easy rinse out!

@sorrycharlie: is the ava stuff body wash and shampoo or is it separate? We started using shampoo on annalie with conditioner because her hair gets super dry. I'm sure it bothers her more when it gets in her eyes though. I'm almost out of moisturizer and bb cream. I'll probably have to order soon!

@yellowbird: It's shampoo/body wash all in one. I use a dab of the adult conditioner in the back half of her hair though (not scalp, but where it hangs? lol..) and her hair is totally fine. Unless she sleeps on it wet - then her curls are a disaster!

My little guy looooves baths, but he usually gets a shower.

My little guys loves the bath and will stay in it for a while just playing, We have a shower nozzle that I use to wash his hair and he just screams bloody murder whenever it even comes close to him!
