I'm just wondering how typical this is....
E will be 3 next month and we have recently entered a "he hit me" phase. She does it at home to us - you only have to brush past her and she's claiming you pushed her and she's hurt - but the really strange behaviour happens when she's with other kids. Yesterday, we went to soft play with my friend's lad. E kept fake crying and saying he had hit her. I spied on them for a while, thinking "no smoke without fire" and saw them playing happily, then I watched E run off laughing, throw herself on the floor near our table and start crying. I approached her and asked her what was wrong, and she said this poor lad had hit her. Then later, she came to me and showed me a pre-existing graze on her knee, claiming he had done it!
Is this typical for the age or is there something else going on here that I need to deal with?
