Please tell me I'm not the only one with 8 million dog toys! I just wrangled them all up so I can vacuum!
What is your dog's favorite toy?

Yep my dog has her little basket full of toys too! But she only plays with a few. Hm, I think it's time to wash them...

My mom has a ton of dog toys and her dog goes through and takes each one out of the basket until he finds the one he wants to play with!

It's embarrassing...we had to put them in plastic planters upstairs and then round up the rest in a garbage bag in order to make room for baby. She's 7 and is so gentle with her toys that not a single one has fallen apart.

@spaniellove: haha we have the exact same problem... My 7 year old dog is so gentle with his toys, so he has nearly every toy he's ever gotten in 7 years. They add up quick!

@spaniellove: @Shutterbug: that's so funny! I wish I had that problem! My dogs are both young, under 2. It seems like we buy them new toys weekly because they chew and destroy them!

My dog has a toy box with all his toys. He seriously loves them, you will never see him without a toy in his mouth. His favorite are ones with stuffing he can pull out and lots of extremities he can rip off.. Yes he is murderous.
My tip- buy toys at Ross or Marshalls. so much cheaper Than a pet store.

Right now? Stealing the baby spoons and running off with them. My LO throws them on the floor when he eats, I get sidetracked, and then poof! Spoon supply slowly dwindles

Her favorite toy will forever and always be her squeaky Kong tennis ball. She is obsessed with it.

they have a crud load of toys! Most of them are outside, but we have to start rounding them up before the snow falls. Their favourite is a marrow bone with peanut butter in it or a kong. They both like the hard plastic toys, and we have not bought them any soft stuffies as we wanted to keep kid toys very different then theirs!

We don't even have dogs, but we have a little basket of dog toys for our friends/family's dogs that we watch on occasion.
A big red rope and a kong wubba are the favorites. -
My dog loves frogs. Stuffed plush frogs. He also has a giraffe that he loves. A whale, too. And the little stinker knows his animals-he'll bring you whateveryou ask for. They last anywhere from a few days to several months. I get them at the thrift store for 50 cents so it doesn't bitter me if he destroys them.

Our dog is only a year old, but we have a lot of toys already. The buying slowed down after I learned to rotate in just 5 of her toys at a time. If she hasn't seen a certain toy in a week, she is super happy to play with it. Keeps her interested.
Her current favorites are squeaky balls and the zumi, which is a rubbery tug toy. Picture shows her and a pal tugging the zumi.

My first dog only likes certain bones and rawhide and does not like or chew on dog toys. We went through so many toys to find this out. Though, sometimes (rarely) she chews on the heels of my shoes.
The rejected toys sat in a box until we adopted our second dog who loves playing with almost every type of toy.
My second dog loves playing fetch so his favorite is probably the ball. Second favorite is this squeaky chicken with a MOM tattoo that my brother got for my first dog. My second dog loves getting it to squeak by rolling on top of it. Not sure if he likes the noise or if he is trying to scratch his back... Or both! Who knows?

We have at least 10 chuck it balls. He covets them, tennis balls, hockey balls, he's ball crazy. He likes a few tug toys, I made one for him from old horse gear (smelly!) and he loves it!
