@Rainbow Sprinkles: what kind of infant seat will you be using? can you remind me of how big DD will be here when this LO arrives?

that's why we got the city select for when the time comes, but budget-wise, it's the same as the britax. can you find one used?

I looked at a ton of double strollers when we were expecting the twins, and almost all of the travel-system type are built for an infant car seat in one position. Now, finding ones that you could put two infant car seats in . . . that was a bit more challenging. I know the Graco/Chico type strollers tend to be a lot heavier and don't have the rave reviews of the more expensive strollers, but they do tend to be both inexpensive and able to handle an infant seat. Not sure if that's helpful, but that's what I learned when we were looking.

what about a city mini double with the car seat adapter?

eta - not totally sure where you could get that the cheapest though

@Rainbow Sprinkles: yea, I'm pretty sure you can use one adapter, but not two! which wouldn't matter anyway

@MsLipGloss: yup that's exactly what i thought. when you only have the baby and not a toddler/child, you have to slide the adapter into the middle for weight purposes..I'm surprised they haven't made an adapter for two infant seats, for moms of two babies, though!

I'll be getting the contours options because I really like that its thinner for malls/markets as opposed to the side by sides. Bonuses are the price and that it comes with both seats and the car seat adaptor. DS will be 21 months when #2 arrives.

I just saw this at target and was really impressed with it. it has TWELVE different positions! When we have another baby, I will def look into this one! I know graco is lower end and can be quite heavy but for the price, I think its pretty good

@Mrsjets: I bought the it used for $65 and haven't used with two kids yet, but on test walks with just my toddler I think its nice! Lots of lower storage space.
