I first noticed this about a year ago but it was so slight DH couldn't even tell. Now its quite pronounced. I put it down to exhaustion because my 2 year old still doesn't STTN but doubt is starting to creep in now.
I've no pain or anything and my eyesight is fine.
Any thoughts?

Hmmm.... It could very well be from lack of sleep. My mom had no creased in her eyelid before kids but after kids one eyelid formed a crease and the other didn't! It wasn't medical, just from kids.

honestly, I would go get it checked out. Better safe than sorry, and rather than worrying about it you can almost certainly put your worries aside once a dr checks it...
(And had the experience of worrying about an enlarged gland, which did turn out to be lymphoma, far better to know and get early treatment on the incredibly off chance it is something more serious!).

@Cherrybee: DH actually gets this with extreme exhaustion/ when he is sleep deprived! Pre-DD I used to call it his "tired eye," I'd be like, "go to sleep, you've got your tired eye."

Just saw this. It could be nothing, or just tiredness but I would get it checked out anyway--in case its mild blepharitis or something.

I had this problem too. When I was exhausted, one of my eyes would also twitch uncontrollably from time to time. Once I got more rest, the problem went away. I'm no eye expert though! And @mrs.cookie: scared the crap out me with the mention of lymphoma so I would definitely see a doctor!!

I think this is called ptosis. One eyelid gets droopy as the day goes on and it is exacerbated by tiredness. I have it too and it isn't totally uncommon. They usually look normal in the morning after you wake up. If it gets severe or crazy there is a plastic surgery remedy available (from what I understand).

My dad has this and it's due to a neurological condition - myasthenia Gravis. Go get checked out just in case!

@Lilbear: Mine look at their worst in the morning but I guess that's when i feel most tired. I actually don't know if it would look better after a good nights sleep because I havent had one for two years!

Are you congested when you wake up? I wake up with a really swollen eyelid on one side sometimes, usually if I have a cold or if I slept really hard. My doctor explained it - something about fluid drainage or something like that -but ultimately it was harmless. Good luck! Let us know what the doc says!
