Any ideas on this rash? dS has been staying with my parents this weekend and now has this gross rash! There are some blustery / bloody looking spots under his chin and then raised red bumps randomly on his body. He's allergic to milk and they have cat - could it be a reaction?

Looks kind of like hand foot and Mouth to me. H got blisters everywhere.

Just got back from the doc because it's spreading like crazy, it's impetigo. Not sure if that's worse or better than HFM but no daycare for 3 days!!

@HappyBaker: my son gets that from scratching his eczema. I'm sorry! Hope he feels better soon!

@ladybee: I think maybe that is how this happened too, he had some patchy skin under his eye and on his chin and that's where the spots started first. What do you put on the eczema / is it ok to put the same thing on even when the spots are there?
Daycare said today a couple kids do have HFM, but the ped was positive this was not that because of the yellow crustiness around his mouth.

@HappyBaker: I put 1% hydrocortisone cream and then aquaphor in top. Our ped gave the okay for me to put it on our new LOs cheeks so I would think his chin would be ok!

@ladybee: Thanks that is super helpful! That's what DS's looks like with some spots that are more open wound-y looking.
