If you could go on a vacation anywhere in the world (sans kids), where would you want to go? I used to jam pack too many things to do, and would need a vacation from my vacation. now i just want to lay on a beach with a cocktail, read tons of fiction books and relax. bora bora or the maldives sounds nice....

I think we would definitely return to the Maldives where we honeymooned. We always wonder when we will get the chance again.

For a nice lazy beach vacation, the Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Hawaii, or the Keys.
For a sightseeing, tourist-y vacay, a tour of Europe or Australia. -
We would go back to the Maldives too! It was soooo relaxing and restful. It was paradise!

I want to go anywhere. Doesn't really matter. I need a vacation . Beach for sure. For me at this stage money would be an issue, but one day bora bora will be on my list.

Definitely Bora Bora! But we went on a vacation for 5 days while my son stayed with my parents (he's crazy about them and they surprised him with a bounce house) but we missed our little guy like crazy and probably would have been a little more cheerful if he was there.

I would want to spend a few weeks in Europe visiting several countries, then to rest from that I'd like to spend a week somewhere like Bora Bora just relaxing.

I'd take a Mediterranean cruise. We love cruises because the only decision you need to make is what fruity drink to order. No driving, no cell phones = heaven

My girlfriends from high school said that when we turn 30 (so in about 2 years from now), we are going to take a girl's vacation. Without husbands or boyfriends and without kids. I'm kinda curious where I will be in 2 years and if I will have any kids. I think we are going to try to take a cruise or go to Vegas or something. Should be fun.
As for dream vacation, without kids? Hmm, I don't have kids yet. Probably a cruise, since I've never been. We do want to go to London or Hawaii but I can see us taking our child with us if we go.

Without kids, I'd love to go to Thailand and Bali. Everywhere else on my wish list, I think I'd like them to come along.

Without kids, I'd go backpacking in the Middle East, because I don't want to bring kids there for safety reasons (well, some of the Middle East would be fine, but I want to go to Iran and places like that where I wouldn't be comfortable bringing kids right now). Most other places I'd want to bring them with me!

Tahiti/Bora Bora if money were no issue! I was just looking through a travel magazine in awe today. It would be so nice to take a celebrity vacation!
Although, I AM grateful for our cruises and mini-getaways. Many people don't even have that luxury.

I'd love to spend a vacation on a week long cruise followed by 3-4 days on the beach. No kids yet, but if money were no issue, this is where I'd be.
