Ugh! I’ve looked everywhere and can’t seem to find a simple little dresser with changing table (or one that I can have a changing pad on top of) that has decent reviews and is in my budget (under $400). Any recommendations? Thank you!

Have you looked at the IKEA Hemnes? We bought one after our daughter was a baby, but I've heard of lots of people using it for a dresser/changing combo. Price of $249

I use the Ikea Hemnes too (just make sure you anchor it). and put the changing pad and a little diaper caddy on top.

We got this and it is cute and pretty easy to put together: https://www.target.com/p/delta-children-174-emerson-3-drawer-dresser-changer-combo-bianca/-/A-51529274?write-review=true&rating=

@NorthStar: Unfortunately, our closest IKEA is 2 hours away. I doubt I can get there before Baby is due next month. They charge like $80 to ship. Otherwise, that looks like a great option. @JJ2626: I have that in my shopping cart at Target. Maybe I’ll go for it!

If you're okay with ordering online, Wayfair has a ton with good ratings:

@CatchAFallingStar: I thought it was pretty sturdy and solid for Target. Better than IKEA, it seemed.

This is not really a true dresser but is a great storage piece if you combine it with storage bins. I don't own this but have had really good experiences with furniture from walmart. Currently we are using a crib, dressser and changing table that we got from walmart over 5 years ago. DD used it and now DS is using it! and it was super cheap too

We have this babyletto dresser. It’s very sturdy and looks great too. My daughter is almost six and we’ve had it for her and for my son. We actually just got a regular dresser for my son and moved this one to the nursery to get ready for baby #3. My son is not two yet and still in diapers so we just moved the changing table part on top of his dresser for now.

Two suggestions:
Check your local craigslist or thrift shops. People tend to get those baby-specific dressers after little use and then upgrade to 'big' kid dressers for the pre-schoolers.
Consider using another piece of furniture. I really disliked getting a specific use furniture piece, so I used a buffet for my first (I just secured the changing pad to the top with a screw in back). I used a TV stand for my second (I got an extender for the strap and looped that around the bottom to secure the changing pad).
Both pieces are still in use around my house and I got my kids a better-suited cube organizer that holds clothes and toys when they outgrew the need for a higher changing pad.

I have this Babyletto Lolly dresser which is decent for the price:
Free shipping from buy buy baby. You could probably use a 20% off coupon, too.
Also at Target with at least a $40 back gift card. Probably 5% off and free shipping with red card.
