I thought it would be fun to have a place to share what you're doing for LO's nursery! I know we're getting close now, but it would be fun to see what everyone is doing!

FUN.... our nursery is in a SAD STATE right now, it's only a quarter painted, but we've cleared most of the stuff out. my DH has been away for work for a week and we've been traveling every weekend, so i'm hoping next week it will start to come together! I'll post a pic when it's done

Just adding one from my phone! I'll update later, but these are the wall decals I put up last week!

Here's a glimpse at ours! We did the PBK madras plaid + alligators. I've ordered some prints for the wall and a monogram for the other wall! It's almost all coming together!

@Mrs. Oatmeal: cute!!!
@CarrieLouWho: love!! Are the curtains from west elm?

@hellobeeboston: They are from PBKids and they are blackout! I waited for a coupon and I think I got them for 20% off. They look great with the plaid, I was surprised.

@CarrieLouWho: thanks! Love that they are blackout. I think I may copy you and purchase for our room!

@plantains: I'm from October but our newborn son will be rooming with our 3 yo dd.

Everybody's nurseries look great! Ours is still pretty bare, but we've got the room painted and the furniture is all together - I'll try to post a pic tonight.
@Mrs. Oatmeal: Those decals are so cute! Where did you get them? I have a friend who has a fish/underwater theme going on in her 3yo's room.
@busylizzy111: Those hook-on bins on your changing table are a genius idea - now I'm wishing we had a lip on our changing table to do something similar (we're just setting it up on top of a dresser)

@2littlepumpkins: oh my gosh, this is my exact situation. I want to put baby boy in with my 3 year old DD.
When are you planning to make the transition?

I finally finished the nursery this afternoon. I am so in love with it!

@babynumber1: so cute! I love the pennants. We have the smaller version of that Hemnes dresser - I really wanted the bigger one but it would have been a tight fit against our free wall, unfortunately.

I'm impressed with your nurseries. Ours is so sad looking I should share a pic - pathetic!! Hoping to get it finished up by Monday or so, but need DH to do a lot of it (finish painting trim, disassemble and reassemble crib, and move all of his work stuff out of the closet!)

I also love everyone's nurseries!
@hellobeeboston: You and I are totally in the same boat. The nursery is DS's old room, so we redid his new room, and the nursery is a mess. We have to put the crib back together from converting it to a toddler bed, need to get letters and paint them for above his bed since we moved DS's letters to his new room, I need to organize the baby clothes. Blah...this poor baby. Not only is he a second child, but he's a second child of the same gender...so I'm just reusing everything for him!

@2PeasinaPod: hahah, yes! Exactly the same. I have bought nothing new for this new guy and everyone keeps asking but I can't think of anything except diapers! Boring!
Meanwhile I think me and DH must have some subconscious worry about big bro because I just realized we have bought him SO MANY new toys over the last month or so, oops!

@hellobeeboston: Same here! I feel like we're overcompensating for DS's world about to be turned upsidedown! It also doesn't help that it's his birthday 5 days after this LO is born, so I'm trying to make sure he feels special for that too!

@hellobeeboston: @2PeasinaPod: I'm with both of you. My LO has so many new toys and other things waiting for him, but the baby is hardly getting anything of his own. I did buy curtains for the baby's room. Does that count? Lol.
I love all the nursery pics. I guess I need to get my butt into gear with this little guy's room.

@ChelseaRose: yes that counts!! Haha. I need to buy some kind of window treatment soon!

The opposite gender certainly made us get more stuff! But I'm jealous y'all get to re-use more things @hellobeeboston: @2PeasinaPod: @ChelseaRose:
Now I feel bad that I haven't got too much new stuff for LO1. She did get a lot at his sprinkle and her bday is October so I blame it on that

@Mrs. Oatmeal: Where did you get those awesome decals? I love them and think my toddler would get a kick out of them too!

@BadgerMom: they're from Lowe's website! I'm in Canada, so hopefully they're available for you as well!
