We're having a second boy in a completely different season and I'm unsure how to proceed as far as buying clothes. DS1 was born in Feb, so all his little clothes are long sleeves and long pants and very, well, wintery. DS2 is due the end of July. My mom insists that we won't need clothes in the beginning, since newborns need to be bundled up. I never really thought about it, as DS1 was always bundled up anyway since it was freezing out. I was going to get him summery short sleeve/pant rompers and stuff in 0-3m, but now I'm wondering if she's right?

What do you think? Would a newborn be fine in the summer in long sleeves/pants? I really would prefer the rompers and swaddle blankets, but I don't want him to be uncomfortable either.....We're in the northeast (nj), so it will definitely be hot.

I feel like I shouldn't be this confused, but I am lol
