Would your non-twins (or triplets etc) in the same clothes? My friend dresses her 5 and 2 year old girls in the exact same outfits. I think it is weird but I don't have a sister. Is this something you do?

My sister and I were 3 years apart (I'm older) and my mom used to dress us alike all the time. I was always teeny tiny, so we were only a size or 2 apart. I don't think I remember it bothering me, but by the time I was 10 or so, she stopped.
Oh, and a lot of the time it wasn't EXACTLY the same (ie. different colors).

@lilteacherbee: yeah I figured it would bother the older sister first but I guess 5 is still young.

We've been gifted a couple of matching outfits for our girls. I think it's very cute for once in a while

My sister and I are three years apart too. My mom would once in a while get us an exact same shirt but never and entire outfit. Would you do mother and daughter matching outfits?

My mom never dressed us in the same clothes.. Probably because all of our clothes were hand me downs when we were younger?
I don't plan on dressing my kids in the same clothes. Maybe same colors though.

My mom used to make matching outfits for.me and my sister. We were little and loved it. I just told.my husband the other day that if we have another girl I will be doing that. I tried.to talk him into getting lo and her cousin matching outfits because they're going to be named.together, but he didn't go for it.

@BoogieBea: no I would not match my daughter exactly either. She would look way cuter than me! Lol.

My sister and I are a year and four months apart--my mom used to dress us in the same outfits, but in different colors. And then she had my identical twin brothers and dressed them exactly alike.
It's still a running joke--every Christmas my sister and I basically get one gift that is exactly the same in a different color.

I think you have to so they can look at the pictures years later and bond over laughing at their parents for being dorky.
My mom would make us (4 girls) matching outfits once in awhile. Hilarious pictures result.

I said I wouldn't do this but for Christmas we got some matching outfits for the girls (3 years apart) so they wore them in front of the Christmas tree and I took pics and that was that!
However I have gotten them 1-2 outfits that were similar, but slightly different. For example, at places like the Gap or Childrens Place they'll have a dress in 4T and then a baby version in 6 months.... Same design but something about the larger size makes it more mature and something about the smaller size makes it more baby-ish. It's really just for cute pics! Soon my eldest will go off and wear girls' sizes, not toddler sizes so I figure I should do this now once in a while before I can't anymore!
