For some reason I have two boxes of chocolate fudge cake mix. What can I do with these besides as directed on the box? They will never get eaten that way.
Please share any ideas/recipes!

Look up the cake mix doctor, there are tons of recipes using boxed cake mix. You can make it into cookies, which I thought was cool.
I typically dont follow the instructions. I always add a box of pudding mix, 4 eggs, 1 cup sour cream and 1/4 oil. Then I bake it at 325 for up to an hour (set oven for 45 minutes, then check after that).

I haven't tried it with a chocolate mix yet, but I made cake mix cookies with funfetti and lemon mixes and they were great!

I'd check out Mix and Match Mama's blog. She has 100 bundt cake recipes that all use box mixes as the base.

I love making this with chocolate cake mix:
1 jar caramel ice cream topping
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 straw (or chopstick or end of wooden spoon)
1 tub cool whip
Heath bar piecesBake cake as directed and let cool
Poke holes all over cake about an inch apart
Mix condensed milk and caramel in a bowl and microwave so it's easier to pour
Pour mixture all over the cake letting it sink into the holes and into the surface of the cake.
Let it cool completely. Cover with cool whip and then sprinkle with Heath bar pieces.This gets rave reviews when I make it!
It's called Better Than Sex Cake but I call it "Better than Anything" cake in front of my parents and children

What about cupcakes instead of cake? You could freeze them and they'll last longer too.
