I had such a struggle trying to figure out "sleepy but awake." I finally figured out that slow-dancing with her in my arms was what worked for us...but maybe she was just ready to be a better sleeper!

This pretty much never happened for us. Even when he was first born he was super sleepy but the minute you put him down he'd wake up. We had to co-sleep even in the hospital because he needed to be held. After sleep training we can put him down awake. But we never achieved drowsy.
