Please recommend your super lightweight, but still fluffy synthetic duvet insert.
The last duvet insert I bought was actually a white comforter. It hit all of my requirements except being lightweight. Using a comforter as a duvet insert really filled out the cover. Trying to go for the trifecta here. If you can, please help!

I use down blankets, same concept, but thinner. I specifically look for the ones that are box stitched, so that the filling stays in place and doesn't bunch up in one corner.
Some places to look are The Company Store and Garnet Hill.

You're looking for synthetic? I was going to recommend the ones at Macy's but they are all down. You pick what level of warmth you want and they have different levels from 1-6.

Costco sells a Tommy Bahama lightweight synthetic comforter and it's the only one we can use in our duvet because DH is a heavy night sweater and he says he's cooking alive otherwise. We love it.

I've been happy with our duvets from IKEA. We by the down ones, but they also make synthetic in a variety of weights.

I ordered mine from Kohls a couple years ago and I'm still happy with it. With Black Friday coming up they should have some good sales!

Our lighter one for warmer weather is from ikea, and our cold weather one is from the company store. Both are great, but the company store one is definitely better quality.
