DS is almost 8 months old and has had an ear infection for 6 weeks. He's been on three rounds of antibiotics and I'm pretty sure it's not better yet - we go for a recheck Friday. He is still pulling and rubbing his ear.

I don't want to keep pumping him full of antibiotics especially since they don't seem to be helping, but obviously I need to do something.

At what point did you see and ENT or other specialist about ear infections? If you did go to a specialist was it helpful?
