So my SIL had her baby (2 weeks ago) and she is making Easter baskets for the family. I think DH and I should bring something for her new DD.
Can you help me with what to put in a small Easter basket for a newborn?

A book? Target had some cute easter cutlery and such for when she starts solids? Toy tethers?

clothes, books, teethers (if she doesn't have a sophie giraffe teether, i recommend that!), sippy cup(for later), baby sunglasses (so cute!), sun hat, pacis, baby swim suit.

Book, maybe bright/springy socks, small stuffed animal, pacis or wubanub, teethers or a rattle. Does she have baby mittens (so she doesn't scratch her face)?

My LO is 4 months. His Easter Basket is going to include: new set of pjs, Easter book, a stuffed bunny, and chocolate (for me!).

My SIL made my 7 week old son a basket with a book, a onesie, and some pouches and purees for when he's eating solids in a few months. It was a perfect complement to the basket she made for my daughter which had a book, a t-shirt, jellybeans and goldfish cookies.

Our LO is 4 months and her basket has a winkel toy, strap for her pacifier, jellycat bunny and robeez style shoes.
I like the book and onesie idea as well. We are just overwhelmed with clothes and books already.

For our girl I did a wubanub, board book, paci clip and one of the jittery hangers for her car seat.

I would add bubbles, cheap and fun for all ages!

A toy that crackles like a soft book
Sleeper PJs that zip up
A natural sunblock -
Everything @jmarionsmith said is what I was going to say. Plus a lovey. A chick or bunny or something easter-y!
