I went to Kohls last night and they had a 75% off clearance rack...then 20% off of that....so I bought E this cute bunny dress for $11! End of March will still be plenty chilly here.

Got this dress for A, who will be 6 weeks old. A friend of mine got her little bunny booties that match perfectly - hopefully they will still fit her giant feet by then!

I'll probably get a navy or peach shirt for D.

Here is LO's dress. It will still be cold here so she'll wear a white cardigan over top, either pinkbor white tights, and gold maryjanes.

Can't find the original anymore, but one is wearing this (in a light blue) and the other is wearing a coordinating plaid. This is why I shop early, both tops are sold out now, it seems good stuff disappears quickly.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: That is so cute! I really needed that last year when DD1 turned 2. The theme was Rio 2 for her 2nd bird-day. I ended up ordering a custom shirt on Etsy that she only wore once.

@lovehoneybee: Adorable! I'm shocked your family is letting you pick out an outfit - I would assume the first girl in 70+ years would have to have multiple outfit changes for the first few holidays.

@LBee: lol re @lovehoneybee: 's family! I have the only girls so far and I almost never get to buy them the impractical outfits because everyone else does! (But I have 3 sisters to buy them dresses plus an aunt that goes overboard every time!).

I was in Target last week and couldn't resist this dress. Not sure if she'll be able to wear it since it'll probably still be cold here, but I'm sure we'll find some use for it :). As others are saying, I can always add a long sleeve shirt and pants underneath it, or a cardigan and tights if it's just a little chilly. I purposefully got it big.

@LBee: coming in here with some more smocking. This was the only smocked longall I could find and it's actually the same one he wore last year!

@StrawberryBee: we have this too! I'm not sure if it will fit DD on Easter though :(. I got it in 12 mos. she's wearing 9 mos. now. Tried it on her and it's a little too big but I had to snag it! So cute.

We got her Easter dress this weekend. I had her try on a whole bunch of dresses and this was the one that looked best on her. And she ..."agreed"....to wear it. We'll see. lol.

ETA: I like Vive la Fete (my main weakness), Classy Couture, Smocked Giraffe, Petite Pomme (their personal brand so not always great quality but inexpensive), and Petit Ami.
