I see lots of talk on here about taking CoQ10 to improve egg quality. I'd never heard of it before, but it seems to be important for a lot of health things, regardless of how significant the benefits are to egg quality. Like with all vitamins/minerals, it would be most ideal to get it through food, and then supplement if that's not possible (because supplements can be less bio-available).

By far the best way to get CoQ10 is through organ meat, in particularly beef heart. Yum, yum. Anyone eat this? If so, how do you prepare it? I remember my grandmother was really into eating organ meat at least once a week for health reasons, apparently it was the norm back in the 1950s. Maybe there's something to it... I get meat from a local farmer, and they will give bits for free as otherwise they just get tossed. But maybe I should just buy the supplement! Curious to hear other perspectives....
