A is EBF but I still got my period at 12 weeks. So I've only been period free for exactly one year - I feel jipped!!!

Bummer! It seems to be really different for everyone!
I EBF for 6 months, now at 8 months LO sttn and nurses morning and night, gets 1 bottle pumped milk and 2 bottles of formula, and I still don't have my period.... It's probably coming soon.

I got mine at 12 weeks too. I was so sad as I EBF as well. The worst part is that it lasted 16 days.

I still don't have it at 5.5 months. I'm okay with that! Sorry it showed so soon!

Mine just came back today. Womp womp.
LO will be 7 mo next week. She was 100% breast fed until 6 mo, but now she gets solids and formula (from time to time). She's been SSTN for a little while too.

@aprk: that stinks that you didn't get a longer break! Did your pp bleeding last long?

@78h2o: wimp womp indeed. My pp bleeding was for about 3.5 weeks. I didn't think it was too bad since it tapered off a lot. Nothing like this period,OMG.
