Besides for the princess dress and legos my daughter wants I thought Id try and find some good preschool educational learning books, games, something as well (maybe those are more Christmas gifts for me). Anyone have any somewhat educational workbooks, games or toys that your preschooler has showed a lot of interest in?

I just got my niece a cash register that she loves! It's a fun toy for pretend play, but if you put in the effort it can be educational as well, teaching math and money

@BabyBoecksMom: They just opened a store by my office, and that's where I got the cash register from! I spent like 2 hours browsing and playing in the store. I think L is getting these for Christmas from my parents - I'm even excited to play with them!

You could try cooperative games? Peaceable Kingdom makes some and they're sold at many Barnes & Noble stores.

My little guy is getting a programmable (with blocks so no computer) robot. Then for other education stuff I'm getting counting bears for his stocking. I love amazon so I'm just looking for deals.
