@autumnlove: We currently are under contract for our dream house and we walked away twice before finally settling on an offer that we and the sellers could tolerate. It's been agonizing and there is plenty of other drama to accompany it. We're getting there, though and figure if it's meant to be, we'll get it... otherwise, oh well!

I guess all of that is to say "Good luck" and don't be afraid to walk away for a while if you need to. We found this house in June and have been working on it since then.
