Oh boy. I remember DS1 went through phases of fighting his naps once he turned 2. He became a 50% of the time napper by age 2.5 and was done by 34 months when we switched to a bed.

ugh, my 3 year old has been fighting naps hard lately. Unfortunately she still really needs them. Our routine is to typically go for a walk after they both nap, my 3 year old will crash within minutes of going in the stroller. I wish she would just nap properly in her bed! She still naps at daycare though. ( Usually only 45min-1hr though.) I'm still going to keep pushing it, I can't have her not nap!

Both my kids only nap at school, so weekends/summers/when they are home with me it is a doozie! DD stopped napping probably around 18 months and DS stopped around age 3. Sometimes I can get them to fall asleep in the car if we are driving around.

He was 4 when he stopped napping nearly daily, but he would still take a nap a few times a month or so when he was 5. My husband even gets him to nap once in a blue moon on the weekends now (but that usually requires a really hard morning of play/outdoor time plus a slightly later than normal bedtime the night before to achieve).

He fought naps hard for a while at/around 2, but I stayed longer with him while he was going down and eventually he stopped being so resistant.

He stopped napping a few weeks before turning three. It's been hard, but at least he goes to bed at a reasonable time now.
