I think this totally depends on your place! Ours provides nap cots and backpacks. We just send sheets and a blanket.

I pack two sets of extra clothes, in ziplock bags with his name on it to keep in his cubby.
They also might need wipes, diapers, water bottle of some sort, sunscreen when it gets warmer, non perishable snacks?
For the sleeping, ours is cots, so we send a sheet and a blanket. I embroidered his name on the sheets.

@wheres_c: waterproof/wash proof labels. you need more than you think you need - you have to label everything. How old is baby B?

It really depends on the daycare. We only have to provide extra clothes, shoes, diapers, and stuff like nasal spray, etc. Our daycare has wipes, PNPs for naps and receiving blankets as loveys. They also provide food for breakfast and lunch. If they need anything, they tell us. I don't know if it's an in home daycare or a center. I send boxes of diapers via Amazon instead of carrying a bunch during drop off or pick up.

Really depends on what your daycare provides.
As an infant we only brought in bottles, diapers/wipes and a few spare changes of clothes.
As a toddler we bring the same plus a blanket and stuffed toy for nap time. They provide all food, mats/P&P for naps.
We don't bring in meds because everything (even Tylenol!) has to have a doctors note, resigned every 6 months and I've been too lazy to get that done; plus we just pick her up if she spikes a fever.

@yoursilverlining: @wheres_c: I think that they provide Tylenol at our daycare. Also C don't forget to get an updated immunization form for LO. I need to get one for our next peds visit. I have our doctor email it to our provider for her records.

@wheres_c: i would ask your daycare what specifically they provide and what you have to bring in. When he was in the infant room i had to pack my son's lunch and bring in his sippies every day, prefilled, but now that he's in the toddler room i only bring one sippy a week and they wash it every day and between uses...but they won't use straw sippies.
Other states have weird regulations for daycare - ie: mine, you can't pack food in anything glass, send wubbanubs in, etc...

This is ours:
Nap mat
blanket (if they want one)
lunch bag
diapers
wipes
2 complete changes of clothes
Bibs (if your DCP uses them)
art smock (or old t-shirt)
Sippy cup
diaper cream
And we had to label everything with first and last name

We have to provide:
-3 sippy cups
-crib sheet for their nap mat
-blanket
-lunch box
-diapers & wipes
-smock/bib
-emergency space blanket
-emergency baby snack bar

I only have to bring a change of clothes, a blanket for nap time, diapers, wipes, and diaper cream. I leave 2 straw cups there since I don't want him using the other sippy cups. They wash those. And yes, label EVERYTHING!

Always have extra clothes....that's #1 to me. We also have to send diapers, so I usually just buy the super sized box at Sam's to send.

@wheres_c: I got my labels here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/66190930/full-name-oval-vinyl-labels-30-qty?ref=shop_home_feat_1 It was a pretty quick turnaround.

@wheres_c: I did Mabel's labels I think and another company that did a plum district deal. If you search the boards there are 3 or 4 different label convos on here.
