I have my grandma's Bulgolgi. It's a Korean beef dish. I know every family has a different recipe; this one's pretty simple/bare bones. I gave it to my SIL
1 lb beef, cut very thin (flank steak works well. The butcher slices it super thin for me)
4 TB sugar (I use about 2)
2 TB sesame oil
6 TB soy sauce
1 tsp minced garlic
4 TB roasted sesame seeds
chopped green onion
Marinate beef overnight. Grill/saute.
I am excited to see other's recipes!!
It is totally not traditional, but he says it tastes super similar and wanted me to make it for his mom.. and now she doesn't make them the old way anymore because this is so much easier haha!
