I know a lot of us try (or succeed) in cycling their toys so it doesn't get overwhelming but sometimes I feel like I have too many! Or not enough! Of course the days I feel like I have too many the kids play with every. single. toy. And sometimes I wish there were a magical exchange store because nothing seems to be keeping them occupied.
What about you? Too many? Not enough? Just right?

YES. Mainly because my parents insist on bulky, plastic things that take batteries. I want to destroy them all.

@Espion: I feel you. That's mainly my parents. In the past two years, the biggest items they've gotten my kids are A) that groovin' tunes motorcycle walker, B) the FP Leap Frog activity table, and C) the FP stroller/walker. Admittedly the kids play with all of them but they're just so BIG and plastic. At least they have a volume control??

Yes...D has way too much stuff. And, even though we clear it out, most of them go into storage for M. Which means that M will have his old stuff AND the new crap he gets from everyone.

They have way too much!! It's ridiculous the amount of toys they have in this house! And I don't even want to think about the amount that they haven't even opened yet from Christmas and birthdays!

@GrapeCrush: Lol, that's why I had to make a dedicated 'play room'! There's still some large and small items in the living room but most of the toys now have their own space.

I don't think we have a lot at all. I need to buy more. I do need to box up some that she never plays with anymore.

Too much. I thought that we cycled decently well last time. I can't wait to have another LO to use the saved toys, then only save the meaningful ones.

Yes too many! They are all gifted too which makes it harder to get rid of them, but I'm trying to sell/donate as many as possible before our move.

Yep, way too much. I often box them up and put them downstairs if she hasn't played with them in a couple weeks. She has her favorites....and we have upstairs toys and downstairs toys. It's just too easy to have to have too many!

i definitely don't feel like we have too many toys now that the kids are older. yes when charlie was a baby, but they need less as they get older and their toys tend to be smaller!

TOO MANY! She had practically none before Christmas, and then after Christmas and her birthday 2 weeks later it was like a toy factory exploded in our house! Luckily we have a lot of play zones in our house, so they are spread out. We need to start working on the play room though, so I can get everything out of our living room

Right now we have too many. DD just had her birthday party so we have lots of toys now. I am cleaning my scrapbook room to turn into a toddler's toy land.
