Just to get some peace and quiet?
I'm tired and sleepy. The whole house is asleep. I'm laying in bed just enjoying the peace and quiet. I don't even have the TV on! Just relaxing and playing on my phone.
Anyone else??

Yes, I should go to bed between 10/11 every night, but I enjoy the alone time too much! So I end up staying up until midnight. And regret it the next day every time and promise myself I'll go to bed earlier that night. Rinse and repeat

@SweetiePie: haha my girls wake up pretty much 5am on the dot. So 10 should be my cut off to get at least 7 hours.

@regberadaisy: Luckily my son wakes at 6:30/7 (except for some odd days he will wake 6 or a little sooner). So even going to bed at midnight I get 7-ish hours. But before him I NEEDED at least 8 hours a night so I know I really should get that much.
And now he's going through 18 mo regression so a couple times a week he's waking at night. And then I REALLY regret not going to bed sooner.

Almost every night I should go to bed earlier than I do. But just having some adulf time in the evening is great. My youngest is up around 630 so I do try to be in bed by 10 at the very latest since I'm up at night to pee.

Every night I try to decide if I want to say up late and enjoy the alone time or go to sleep early so I'm nice and rested in the morning. I usually end up staying late. Love the quiet time.

@regberadaisy: all the time. Every night. Today DH and DD both napped and I made a cup of coffee, turned on the computer and pittered away. I browsed the web and slowly picked up the house. It was glorious.

Every night. It's just part of the routine now. DH goes to bed at 10, I don't till around midnight. Partially because I have to pump, partially to give me some real alone time. I'm a big time introvert, so I need to genuinely alone time.

@Torchwood: thankfully (kind of) my DH is usually in bed around 830/9. But man, the nights he stays up later really throw me off. I need that alone time. I try to be nice and enjoy my time with him when hes up but sometimes it's really hard for me not to ask him why he isn't going to bed already!

Yes, it's the only time of day for me to get work done. I usually go to bed around 1am. I love the me time! But always have a hard time getting going in the mornings.
