I don't really like jeans- I find them uncomfortable. But it's hard to find any other type of pant to wear. For work I wear a ponte pant from AT, or else a dress and tights. If I'm not leaving the house I'm in leggings or yoga pants, but I usually won't wear those in public.
what pants do you wear for everyday that aren't jeans?

I have some Loft twill stretch pants that I like a lot. They're a dark gray khaki style material but cut more flattering like a pair of jeans

I have several pairs of these and think they're great. Lightweight enough for Florida and casual enough for every day.

I wear black stretch fitted chinos almost every day. I have 2 pairs from Old Navy that are just about falling apart, a random pair from the juniors section at Nordstrom Rack, and I have a pair of hot pink ones from jcrew. Almost all of them happen to be capri length (I buy them all on sale and it's always the capri length that's on sale!) but I don't mind that length on me in the summer, and I wear knee high boots with them in the winter.

@MrsMcD: those look super comfortable! My only question would be - what does the fit look like on someone like me with curvy thighs? I saw one reviewer on the site who said they made her look bigger... the nearest anthro is half hour away so it would be a special trip to go check them out.
@stine_ciro: I have a pair of cords from LOFT! they are boot cut so i never know how to wear them. I think this fall I may need to get a pair of skinny cords.

@Mrs. Pen: I'm pretty darn curvy with some noticeable thighs and I still love these pants. I'm so very picky about fit and look and these pants just do it for me. Maybe stay away from the ankle length. That length generally isn't very flattering on people. Maybe you could purchase on line and return for free if you don't like them.

@MrsMcD: I'm pretty tall, any pant that doesn't have a long inseam will be an ankle pant lol. I can pull off ankle length though, and if I don't want to I could do a cuff or pair with boots. I really want to try then though! I think I saw a pair on clearance and they had one left in the size- the mustard color I think? Because they're not jeans, I could wear them to work too

@Mrs. Pen: You are tall?? Lucky. I'm 5'6", but its not nearly tall enough to make my legs look anything less than squatty in ankle pants. But yes, you can totally wear those pants to work. I'm wearing black ones to work now. And I do have the mustard color, also!!

@MrsMcD: I'm 5'8, but all my height is in my legs. For regular jeans I need a 34" inseam, and if I want to wear heels it needs to be 36"! I had a hard time with my height until more brands started selling long sizes! PS you are SOOOO tempting me. I think I still have some money from the tax refund sitting in my account.... ahhhhh
