My neighbor just brought me a pack of giant ribeyes and 25$ for Scribble. WOW! Talk about a merry Christmas! Totally unexpected and outrageously generous.
Now I am just the jolliest creature on the block!

Don't you love when people surprise you like that?
Kind of related-- I was walking with a friend, we both had babies in strollers, and we were discussing how oblivious or rude people can be, not standing up for pregnant ladies on the subway, etc. There was construction ahead of us on the sidewalk and we were about to turn around to cross the street when a construction worker waved us close, stopped the drilling, helped us pick the strollers up over a gap in the sidewalk, and waited to start up the drilling again until we were past. So nice, and every time I think of it it reminds me that people are nice
