We have a video monitor for our 20 month old but will be moving our baby to her room in the next month or so and will need a camera for her room. We also have a traditional monitor, no video. If you were me, would you invest in a second camera or just put the regular monitor in the older LO's room?

I would get the second camera. It would be annoying to have two receivers when both kids are sleeping, and video was important to me when LO transitioned out of the crib! And continues to be now that he doesn't nap quite as easily.

Second camera! We're pretty thrifty around here, but that is one luxury we love having.

I found that the audio monitors are much more $$ than I remember them being. For a decent audio monitor with good reviews, I'd spend the same that I got the cam for on ebay!

Yeah... I'd just go without a monitor, for real. We haven't used one in Cs room since she was like 8 months old. If you already have an audio monitor, use it. If you'd have to buy a monitor... Skip it.
Of course, I'm in the "video monitors are a waste of money" camp.
